[SLO] Spoznavanje in dopolnjevanje osnovnih pojmov in principov višje matematike ter njihove aplikacije v naravoslovju in tehniki. [SLO] Cilj predmeta je obnoviti in dopolniti znanje splošne, anorganske in organske kemije ter seznaniti študente z osnovami kemijskega inženirstva in dela s kemikalijami. Poudarek je predvsem na znanjih, kot so lastnosti elementov in materialov, osnovne kemijske reakcije in osnovni kemijski postopki. Na osnovi predavanj in vaj študentje osvojijo načine izbora primernih materialov in njihove zaščite, obenem pa jim je omogočen vpogled v možnosti za uporabo strojniškega, elektrotehniškega in računalniškega znanja v kemiji in kemijski procesni tehniki.

[ENG] The aim of this course is to renew and expand the knowledge of general, inorganic and organic chemistry, and to acquaint students with the fundamentals of chemical engineering and the work with dangerous chemicals. The focus is on skills, such as the properties of the elements and materials, basic chemical reactions and basic chemical processes. Based on the lectures and tutorials students acquire the means of selecting suitable materials and their protection, while being given an insight into the possibilities for the use of mechanical engineering, electrotechnical and computer knowledge in chemistry and chemical engineering process.

[SLO] Cilj predmeta Mobilne tehnologije je predstaviti študentom sodobne tehnologije in storitve mobilnega računanja. Učni načrt je oblikovan tako, da študente spozna s teoretičnimi in praktičnimi koncepti ter jih usposobi za samostojno oblikovanje in razvoj aplikacij za mobilne naprave. Osvojena znanja bodo s pridom uporabljali pri reševanju problemov, za katere so potrebni bolj zahtevni pristopi.
[ENG] The main objective of the course Mobile Technologies is to present students with state-of-the-art mobile technologies and services. The syllabus is designed in a way to guide the students through the theoretical and practical concepts and make them qualified to independently design and develop complex applications for mobile devices. They will be able to use the acquired skills for solving problems that require advanced approaches.

[SLO] Cilj predmeta je seznanjanje s temeljnimi koncepti spletnih tehnologij in spoznavanje s konkretnimi spletnimi tehnologijami, ki omogočajo razvoj spletnih aplikacij. Ključne tri komponente teh tehnologij so opisni jeziki, programski elementi na strani klienta in programski elementi na strani strežnika. Temelji so dopolnjeni s specifičnimi vsebinami, ki so pomembne za prakso razvijanja spletnih rešitev, kakršne so na primer osnove komunikacije s podatkovnimi bazami in osnovnimi principi in pristopi za zagotavljanje varnosti.
[ENG] The main objective of the course is present the basic web technology concepts that are required for developing web applications. The key technology components are descriptive languages, server side program elements and client side program elements. In addition the course gives specific contents that are beneficial for developing web-based solutions, like relational data-base communication basics and information security principles and approaches.

[SLO] Osnovni cilj predmeta je naučiti študente razumevanja osnovnih pojmov računovodstva in poslovnih financ.
Študenti pridobijo naslednje kompetence:
- osnovna znanja o uporabi računovodskih informacij v podjetju in uveljavljene praktične rešitve poslovnih financ,
- praktično usmerjena znanja o načinih in koristih uporabe temeljnih računovodskih izkazov za izboljšanje kakovosti sprejemanja poslovnih odločitev in o tem, kako se rešujejo finančni problemi,
- znanja o normativnih okvirih poslovanja gospodarskih družb in vodenju računovodstva,
- razumevanje različnih možnosti za financiranje podjetja in spoznavanje področja kapitalskih naložb.
[ENG] The primary goal of this course is to teach students the basic principles and concepts of accounting and business finance.
Students obtain the following competences:
- basic knowledge on the use of accounting information in the enterprise and applied practical solutions of corporate finance,
- practically oriented knowledge on ways and the benefits of the use of the basic financial statements, to improve the quality of business decisions, and how to solve financial problems
- knowledge about normative frameworks of business and about management of the accounting,
- understanding the different options for the financing of the company and learn about the field of capital investment.

[SLO] Osnovni cilj predmeta je naučiti študente osnov uporabe informacijskih tehnologij v poslovanju. Študenti pridobijo naslednje kompetence:
- znanja osnovnih konceptov s področja informacijskih sistemov in podlaga za razumevanje metodologij in tehnik za razvoj informacijskih sistemov,
- poznavanje programskih orodij za podporo posameznim fazam razvoja informacijskih sistemov, ki so: snovanje, uvajanje, delovanje in vzdrževanje poslovnih informacijskih sistemov in podsistemov.

- knowledge of basic concepts from information systems field and basics for understanding methodologies and techniques for developing information systems,

[SLO] Cilj predmeta je študente naučiti razumevanja osnovnih sodobnih proizvodnih sistemov, integrirane zaščite okolja in načrtovanja novega produkta. Obravnavana snov je dopolnjena s številnimi praktičnimi primeri in ekskurzijo. Študentje v okviru predmeta pripravijo seminar, ki podrobneje osvetli eno izmed obravnavanih tem.
Študenti pridobijo naslednje kompetence: okolju prijazno in ekonomično upravljanja s sodobnimi proizvodnimi sistemi.
[ENG] The aim of this course is to teach the students understanding of basic modern production systems integrated environmental protection in new product design. Discussed issues are complemented by a number of practical examples and excursion. Students in this course prepare seminar, with a more detailed discussion on the issues addressed.
Students will acquire the following competences: environmentally-friendly and economical management of modern production sysms.
