This course is composed of a serie of seminars about recent advances in environmental sciences. National and international speakers are invited to give a 1h-lecture focusing on the last achievements in their field of research.

This course is mandatory for Master students (1st and 2nd year) and 1st year PhD: 75% of attendance is required to pass the module.

The lectures are usually held in via croce (room 201) on Thurdays at 2 and/or 3 p.m. every two weeks. However, extra seminars can be organised on other dates. The students, who might not be able to come to the seminar, can follow it through VOX.

Scientific evenings, organised by UNG, are also taken into account in this course.

Students in 2nd year of Master have to write a report about a selected topic  that they present in May.
